Shareables – How to share

Sharing on Facebook

To post a Shareable image on Facebook, follow the steps below.

First, download the Shareable:

  • Navigate to the Shareable image landing page. You can do this by:
    • Clicking on the Shareable image in your Daily ListReport email
    • Clicking on the Check it out button on your ListReports Home page
    • Going to the Shareables tab located in the left-hand navigation column of your ListReports account
  • Copy the suggested caption, if desired
    • Pro tip: Do this first so you don’t have to come back to this page later!
  • Click the Download button, then right-click the image and select Save Image As…
  • Name and save the image to your Downloads folder (desktop) or Photo Library (mobile)

Now, post it to Facebook:

  • Open your browser or app and log in to Facebook
  • Go to your Home page and click on the Photo/Video icon under Create Post
  • Upload the shareable image from your Downloads folder (desktop) or Photo Library (mobile)
  • Paste the recommended caption from the shareable landing page, or write your own
    • Because social media posts are considered advertising, make sure you are complying with applicable regulations and social media policies. We suggest that you include details about your business, including your name, license number, the name of your firm, all other information that may be required for compliance, as well as the appropriate Equal Housing Opportunity logo.
    • Pro tip: Don’t forget to use hashtags – they make your post more discoverable!
  • Make sure you are posting to your News Feed
    • If you are posting on a personal profile, click the circle next to Your Story to share to your story as well
  • Choose the time and audience you wish to share to
    • Optional: Select Preview to view what your post will look like before you post it publicly!
  • Once you are happy with the wording, click Share

Done! Your post should upload within a few seconds. Now you can sit back, relax, and admire your handiwork.
